The stars were aligned when Cody and Robyn met for the first time on the evening of Sunday April 3rd, 2022. Cody was with a few friends enjoying a music event at the Coach House, a fun local bar in Scottsdale. Robyn’s group of friends were also at the same bar, and they had met Cody earlier on in the day and had become friendly.

Robyn‘s friend Staci had encouraged her to stop by the event to see them and say hi, and when she walked in after the event had come to an end and everyone was leaving soon, she was immediately introduced to Cody and it was love at first sight for both.

After a long first phone call the next day after work to get to know each other after their brief initial spark, a few days of text messaging, then finally a first date later in the week (that turned into 4 days) - the two were inseparable.

From saying their first “I love you’s” a week after they had met to spending an unbelievable amount of time with each other nearly every day that has followed, moving in together in summer 2023, experiencing many fun amazing moments, making countless memories, and also dealing with a few not-so-great times over the years - they have finally found their forever love story.

Both are unendingly grateful for every day they have the opportunity to make each other feel loved and appreciated.

Robyn was thrilled beyond belief at the lovely surprise proposal at sunset on the beach in Cabo, July 18, 2026 – on Cody‘s surprise birthday trip. Also a huge plus was an angel couple who were enjoying the sunset and thought they saw what looked like a proposal happening in the distance. They were quick-thinking and kind enough to grab their phone to capture the moment, take fantastic pics afterwards and send them to us. The whole experience was private, organic and perfect.

Mom and Cody had picked out the gorgeous ring setting and stunning center stone together and plotted over several months to get it customized and perfected, and he knew this was the trip to pop the question, when the right time presented itself.

Neither Robyn nor Cody have been engaged or married before, and truly feel that they won the lottery with finding each other every day. We are thrilled to finally be uniting in marriage amongst our closest loved ones.
